About Us
Engineering expertise built on experience
BSC NZ Ltd is a Tauranga-based structural engineering consultancy which specialises in the design and delivery of safe, innovative and practical structural solutions for residential, commercial and industrial projects across New Zealand.
Led by Sidhant Pawan Kumar, Senior Structural Engineer and Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng, CMEngNZ, IntPE), the company brings more than a decade of hands-on experience in structural design, seismic strengthening, temporary works, footbridges, retaining walls and other structures. Sid holds a Masters of Engineering Studies from the University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from Fiji National University. He is also a Board Member of the National Association of Steel Framed Housing New Zealand (NASH NZ) and a member of Engineering New Zealand and SESOC.
With expertise across heavy steel, reinforced concrete, precast panels, light gauge steel, timber and other materials — and proficiency in industry-leading software — BSC NZ Ltd is committed to delivering projects on time, within budget and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
